There is no schedule still. Est. end of the year for a G.Fast modems and routers. Do NOT buy the Vigor 165/2865 - they do not support G.Fast.

Wow some posts observed the 160 series back on Sun Aug 05, 2018 9:17 am
A year ago,
Would be nice to have some shipping dates? or even a 166 to test (if anyone at Draytek is reading this)

I'm waiting for the 165 ( SuperVectoring - Profile 35b ) my ISP has been giving out Supervectoring 200Mb/20Mb line for some time now ( over a year ) the supplied ones are Crap in my opinion not going to name it ( Router VDSL Modem ) on here lol, would prefer Draytek Vigor 165 for my 2 locations which both have 2 Lines each.
One site currently is using 2 x Asus DSL-AC88U Annex A ( Supervectoring & G.Fast Capable ) in Bridge mode to a Ubiquiti Pro Gateway.
Other site is using 2 x SFP VDSL2 Modules ( non-Supervectoring but does give me 110Mb/20Mb each ) in bridge mode {obviously} inside the SFP module ports on a Ubiquiti Pro Gateway.
The Asus DSL-AC88u is a good piece of kit but for rackmount slimmer 1u the Draytek 165 hopefully is as good or better, as already got a dual 165 1u rackmount kit waiting

Well, planning a device and launching it depend on different things - the market for G.fast modems is probably tiny. It has to be economically viable - you can't run a production line for 10 modems

I just received 2 x 165 ( Profile 35b Super-vectoring ) however they do not work for 35b currently , they only run at 17a and slower than other 17a equipment
