DrayTek Mesh Model Compatibility
ExpiredDrayTek mesh allows a mesh node to connect wirelessly to another mesh node or the mesh root without an ethernet cable linking the two devices together. The mesh root can control the mesh nodes, making initial setup and management easier. Further details on DrayTek mesh is available on the mesh wireless page
Due to differences in chipsets not every model is compatible with each other. The tables below give details of mesh interoperability between DrayTek products.
As an alternative to using mesh, DrayTek Access points can be connected wirelessly to each other using WDS (Wireless Distribution System) or can be wired to an ethernet switch and then configured using Router-based AP Management, AP-based AP Management, VigorConnect, and VigorACS management platforms. Alternatively, multiple Access Points can be managed independently to form a wireless network with roaming.
