Yet another Sky Fibre Post - Sorry! was created by jlb
Hello,
I'm trying to get my Vigor 130 setup with Sky Fibre. I have the Option 60/61 info.
I've set the 130 into bridge mode and get solid green WAN signal, I also saw before putting it into bridge mode, it was syncing at the maximum speed for my service 79999/19999
I have the latest firmware for the 130 and the latest Asus Merlin WRT firmware for an Asus AC5300.
The router shows I have an external ip address in the configuration homescreen, but I cannot get any browsing traffic at all.
I have looked at the WAN settings and even tested "breaking" the connection by removing the option 60/61 info, and it does, the router complains it has no wan ip.
So, if I am getting an IP address from sky (it's a 90 or 92.x.x.x address if memory serves) can anyone advise me on what i've missed? Should I have made any settings changes before putting the modem into bridge mode? Should I be specifying MAC Addresses or DHCP?
Many thanks.

I have this working with a 2925 and a 130

Seems more likely your issue is with the Asus though, as if Sky is issuing you with an IP address that suggests the connection is good.

Thanks chaps, I came across the skyuser post when doing my research, but not the thinkbroadband one - gratitude for the replies.
I've been giving it some thought and came up with a few ideas yesterday, so going to have a read of these posts and do some "double-clickin' "
Will report back with results.. a key couple of items is cloning the MAC address - removing the password from option 61.
I will report back.

Bizarre..
Having tried some changes.. I'm no further on.
I can't load webpages.. but I can ping googles dns and even 139.130.4.5 which is a dns server in australia.
Everything appears normal, until I try and load a webpage!
So, a factory reset of both the modem and router is called for I think, here's the steps I plan to take.
Switch to VDSL2 from Auto
Logon to modem and set it to bridged mode in MPoA settings
Connect to router, and make the following entries in the WAN tab:
WAN Connection Type Automatic IP
Enable WAN, NAT, UPnP
Connect to DNS Automatically YES
WAN MTU 1500
Cloned MAC address from Sky SR102
DHCP Query Freq - Aggressive Mode
Manual client ID - c30492032@skydsl|234324f (not real)
Manual Vendor Class - 2.91.2110.R|001|SR102|A3493849320492 (not real)
Any steps I've missed???? It's bizarre I can ping internet hostnames but get no webpages right?
