Buffering Issue? Or something else? was created by goatblower
Using 2760n vdsl on Plusnet
Model Name Vigor2760n System Up Time 552:55:10
Router Name DrayTek Current Time 2017 Mar 7 Tue 5:59:19
Firmware Version 3.8.2_STD
Connected : Down Stream : 57148Kbps / Up Stream : 20000Kbps
Connection is stable an never seems to drop
Speeds are good
But watching youtube I often get the video pause a couple of seconds (no buffering icon), then everything sort of zips forward super quick and continues normally. Happens regularly but not at set intervals, but say every min or so

I'd confirm the 'buffering issue' with another device on your network first.

Wired or Wifi? If wifi, then after flash player issues (like 100% CPU for no good reason) suspect the wifi.
Usually due to packet loss somewhere but that could be the wifi kernel driver, wifi signal, router, DSL or other. Also can be down to DNS if the youtube is accessing adverts during play but that is a so and so to find.
