2860n-plus and Virgin VDSL was created by ronniem
It seems there is plenty of configuration information on Virgin Cable, but a distinct lack on Virgin VDSL.
There is however configuration information on BT Infiniti.
Is it safe to asume that the BT Infinity configuration information will be equally applicable where the service provider is in fact Virgin ?
We need to pre-configure a router prior to shipping to a remote site, so that it is "numpty plug and play" ready !!
Thanks.

Oh wow, you're brave. Did you not fancy a day out to the remote site?

Am I ??? !!!
If it will provide a basic connection to the internet just by being plugged in, then any configuration tweaks can be done by remote access.

Most VDSL2 ISPs do use the same settings - the defaults of the router, but most do also need some sort of login username/password... so unless you get specific info from Virgin or a virgin user you believe, I wouldn't send that router off with any confidence that it will just work!

I didn't think Virgin did VDSL.
I thought that they had pulled out of the DSL market completely and handed all their DSL customers over to TalkTalk

Same!
Isnt Virgin cable not VDSL and you need a cable modem or the Virgin Hub in Modem only mode plugged into a certain port?
