maybe silly suggestion
At the Diagnostics >> Syslog Explorer can you change to always record new event or change it vice versa? tick as well from the drop box window syslog type all & don't forget to enable it top left

enable (top left) it to see if still has issue, maybe a conflict

No change, still crashes

Have not had that problem, but I have noticed that the router is a lot more stable since I stopped logging and removed that USB stick that was storing it on USB too. Maybe all my problens were down to me having the log sent to a server like your setup.

I used to have a 2830 configured exactly the same way, so I'm not sure whether it's a software or hardware issue.
