Do you happen to have a download URL for that firmware? adrian@adriandaz.co.uk
I just restored the router using .rst to 3.7.4.3 and configured only ADSL and syslog and the issue still happens, so would be good to try latest firmware.
cheers
Adrian.

Give a go before send it back
Use the STD and the rst* file extension for a clean install (not use the cfg & bin files)
ftp://ftp.simet.com.tr/02_TEKNIK_SERVIS/01_DrayTek/Vigor2860/v2860_r44321_v3.7.7_RC4a.7z

That's bizarre in the extreme.
I know your router is going back today anyway, but I had quite a few issues with mine at first. Strange things going on. I found that I had to do a TFTP firmware upgrade, fatory reset, and then do the config from scratch, uploading the old config caused me problems, annoying if you have a lot of settings, fortunately I don't. The only bit that I could upload without issue was the mac address - DHCP fixed assignment table, whatever it's called. Seems there is some corruption when uploading the config file to new firmware, at least on mine.

I reconfigured from scratch every time and reflashed using rst files, so must be some corruption on the memory or something.
