I've just signed up to sky fibre and run into this issue with my 2820N.
Will this be fixed for the 2820n as I really dont want to use sky's.

I recently updated to beta version of firmware for my Vigor 2830n
However I still can't get my router working. It seems I can get connected to Sky on the physical level, but Wan1 won't come up.
Settings as below:
Encapsulation=1483 Bridged IP VC-Mux
VPI=0
VCI=40
Modulation=ADSL2+(G.992.5)
WAN Connection Mode=ARP Detect (I've tried Always on as well)
No RIP
No Bridge Mode
Obtain an IP address automatically
On Stats page router is showing Line is up and running ('Showtime' with similar line speed as Sky router). However Wan 1 doesn't seem to come up unless I have Always On configured and there doesn't seem to be a connection across the ATM layer - no internet connection. (Wan1 shows DHCP Client, no IP address and No GW IP). I've entered my username and password as detailed elsewhere, and set Mac Address as per router Mac Address on Wan side - not Local as this port faces Sky!
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I have a 2850n and will also soon be signing up to sky broadband. Would be really good if Draytek could get a working firmware for it

Well after a few days I gave up trying the 2830. It would never authenticate with Sky. I now have a 2850 to try. Anyone had any joy with that?
