Another vote for Sky MER support on 2750.
I sold my 2820 as it didn't support Sky MER - a 2750 on fibre would be ideal.

Hi
I have had Sky's FTTC product in for 3 days and am suitably impressed. I also work for a Draytek distributor and am trying get hold of the beta to work with a 2830.
I would gladly look at jumping to a Draytek!

Just received the firmware from Draytek for the 2830. Will try tonight, as long as I can figure out the username/password for the connection. Anyone have an Idea about how to pull it out of the Sagem router?

has anyone had any joy connection to sky using the new 3.3.7.2 RC3a beta firmware for the 2830?
I followed the instructions below and the modem would not even recognise the line
1. Set the WAN (either WAN1 or WAN2 depending on which WAN is being used) to PPPoE
2. Enter the Sky username and password in the PPPoE screen
3. Save the settings reboot the router.
4. Change the WAN mode to "MPoA" (WAN1) or "Static or Dynamic IP" (WAN2). Even though PPPoE has been disabled the username
settings are still saved.
5. The Router will now send "username|password" as option 61 in any DHCP request. The string is coverted automatically
into hex.
