Thanks Rothers.. Sad to see a 1gig port advertised but only a capacity to run at 50meg.. that's what I call false advertising

That's 50 with the firewall packet inspection on!! Have to read and understand the specs.

I have been suffering the same, tried shutting down ALL VPN's, turning off the firewall completely and making sure all other load balancing and QOS are disabled and still speedtests come back as between 16 and 25mb/s down and less than 5mb/s up

If I bypass the 2830n-plus and go straight through the cable modem I get 104mb/s down and 9.89mb/s up (better than Virgin media advertise)

Very disapointing, I was prepared to lose 10mb on my download speed for the convenience of having dial out VPN's to a load of sites I look after but to lose 80% of my download and 50% of my upload doesnt make sense.

Any ideas on how to make the Gb WAN2 port true GB before I ditch it all together?
