No - I gave up with UK support, and went directly to Taiwan. They got back to me the same day, and I was then contacted by someone who knows what they are talking about, and wants to sort out the problem.

Hello Mike
Have seen you on overclockers with this iddue.
I've also responded to a couple on there.
My problem is I can actually connect but my upstream speed is half what can be achieved with O/R modem.
My u/s 2 snr is zero and that seems to be where the problem is for me.
Out odf interest the O/R modem uses IPoE rather than PPPoE.

I think that my problem is associated with the up stream side of things, too.
If I watch while it is trying to connect, I can sometimes see the down stream side connect, but never the up stream. Also, if I leave it trying to connect for a while, it mucks up my up stream speed. On the BT modem/router, my up stream speed is now about half a Mbit, when it should be up to 10. This does not recover, even after a week or more. I have BT coming later in the week, to reset this for me. I'll have to be more careful with my testing, in future.

Well I was almost excited - got another Beta firmware - still only getting half the upload speed.

cgoodier,
Do you know if that beta firmware is the same as the previous 1.5.2 one and if not could you put it up some where for us to try?
Cheers
Wil

It's different to the 1.5.2 beta that has previously been posted.
Looks like a different build with an option to turn bit swap on and off along with some other features.
Not sure how to host the file.
