Strange that every time I replied to your "RSS and message ordering" post, it would retain your subject name, I thought this would revert back to the original name? FWIW, I am always viewing topics via the 'Recent Topics' page, so maybe that's why I'm seeing what I'm seeing; no doubt it will revert back now that I am replying to an earlier post in the topic.

Anyway, just an ongoing observation really...

EDIT: Odd, my copy/pasted quote won't take, it shows that I've quoted but doesn't display the quote!

With the subject, the behaviour should also be the same as before, you can change the subject of a topic you have created, and replies to it can set a different subject, but doesn't replace your original subject for the topic. Any subsequent reply should pick the original topics subject https://www.draytek.co.uk/images/forum/forum-subject.jpg

EDIT2: Above, I copied/pasted the text into the reply area then highlighted it and clicked on the "quote" button above, in the editor. FWIW, I did quote your original message then edit it down to just the paragraph I wanted to quote, maybe that messed things up, although it hasn't been a problem in the past.

Replied by Chris on topic Draft post functionality
Hi HodgesanDY,

Just to let you know we should be releasing the draft functionality tomorrow morning! From there, I'll take a look at the post ordering.

Replied by Chris on topic Post numbering
Hi HodgesanDY,

We've been able to tweak the post numbering to show the actual post #id instead of an incremental position within the topic. Although the number is a little larger, it allows referencing posts across different topics, which should hopefully be useful :)

Hi HodgesanDY,

Oh great! Although I’m looking at it now, and it appears to be showing the post numbers of the entire forum! So your latest post is #103923, which must be the latest post number on the entire forum?

That would definitely be useful for linking to a post anywhere on the forum, but for tracking a topics progress it’s more complicated, as there’s gaps between post numbers, because of postings in other topics etc.

Still playing with the draft function to get my head around usability. 👍🏼

Also noticed the other day that you fixed the clearing (‘x’) button on the green notification banner that appears at the top. Brilliant!

(Thanks for working on the new features 👊🏼)

Anyone else having trouble posting in the last half an hour?

I can’t post and instead get a 404 not found error and if I try to logout I get “The page isn’t redirecting properly”!

Posting from a different workstation now, to test.

EDIT: Ok, must be just me.
