Hi Chris,

Another issue to report, and I thought it was just me, but others are noticing that it takes a long time to submit posts on the new forum.
It has only been a problem for about a week. Sometimes slow enough for the browser to timeout.

To be fair though, all my posts have actually posted, it’s just that the browser/forum seems to hang after you click submit.

Thanks.

Hi Chris,

Just a request/query really. On the old forum, I swear you could “quote” a selected part of someone else’s post, whereas now you can only quote the whole post, which is a pain if their post is a large one.

Is it possible to have that feature back?

Thanks again 👍🏼

Any particular reason that I received 11 "new post" notifications last night regarding the "critical firmware" thread when there were only 3 new posts ?

Glad I’m not the only one. I received 9 for one thread, and it was an older post in that thread; actually thought it was my mail server playing up.

EDIT: Updated 'Subject' title, to better suit the topic.

@Chris

Hi,

I have been wondering about this for a while, being able to change/update the 'Subject' title of a topic you have created, and can you do it to someone else's original post.

When I tested this, it seems I can change my own original post's 'Subject' title but couldn't change someone else's, although it did allow me to append/change the 'Subject' title for my reply to their topic.
See test post here :
https://www.draytek.co.uk/forum/routers-and-firewalls/25069-firewall-nat-not-blocking#103761

I'm curious now, to see if others can see my appended 'Subject' title and if they reply to my post will their reply carry my appended title forward?

Surely this should be locked to only changing for the OP or Administrators?

Thanks
