Yep, spoke too soon. Firmware is fine to see the status in green, but you do not appear to be able to apply config etc. Hmmmph....

As an update to this. Mesh management of the 1062c appears to work ok from the 2866, at least it does with the Beta firmware I have (will try later with the recently released critical update, see if its the same). It adopts them fine (i have 3) and sends the config to them, and appears to show status in green permanently. At the point of adopting into the Mesh the device disappears from AP Management entirely.

The latest FW for the 2866ax does not fix the issue.
Although the AP is showing green I get the following messages in the event log.

Apply Load Balance settings failed
Apply Rogue AP Detection settings failed

Draytek support say that the issue is been escalated.

I have the issue on both the 2966 and the 2927AX routers for me on a 962c which is pretty much the same as the 1062c. The issue appears to be in the APs and that's what they need to fix. I have 1060 and 960 APs and they are fine. They have known about this since July.. don't hold your breath!

Would this issue cause problems with the assisted roaming between the 2866ax and the 1062C.
The 1062C will not let devices disconnect, whatever settings are used. The AP903 that I used previously worked perfectly.
