New here but not new to DrayTek, as a supplier it’s
all we sell to our customers in terms of connectivity kit.

Now my issue, I have a 2862VLN, works rock solid, 2 WAN connections.

Have been using Apple AirPort Extreme for the last few years without issue, but as they were getting old and are no longer made, thought I’d replace and go mesh, so bought 5 AP-903 and 2 AP-802. All configured (eventually) and working fine. All the AP-903’s are backhauled using ethernet, everything works good. However, downstairs I’ll get 50mb down, 17 up, normal for my connection. Upstairs in the bedroom, 10d and 17u??? The AP-903 in the bedroom is an active mesh node. I’ve checked all the settings but cannot for the life of me figure out why the speed is so much lower?

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Try turning off the 5GHz band on the AP and see if you still have low speed when on 2.4GHz.

So, after resetting everything and setting it all up again all seems to working correctly.
