Draytek AP902 was created by willy337
Can anyone help. We've got a few AP900 AP902 and they are randomly kicking users off. Its currently set to 5Ghz networks only using WPA2. The AP's only have around 5-10 users connected at any one time. The current firmware is 1.2.1.

From looking at the log files, the only suspicious line looks to be Flush one! when the disconnections occur. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Heres a sample of the log from the last few minutes during the disconnection. The AP in question was running the wrong time, which was changed during the diagnostics, hence why the dates go from Feb to Oct.

Cheers

John

Hi,

Did you get to the bottom of this? I am seeing exactly the same thing on 2.4Ghz FW 1.2.3

Cheers

The log shows what looks like an idle disconnection - if these are portable devices that are disconnecting, it's possible that the VigorAP doesn't have APSD enabled? That can be turned on from the WMM Configuration menu by enabling WMM, then enabling APSD, it should help the AP handle devices in power save mode.
