Source for white 5dBm antennas? was created by conrad
Anyone able to recommend a source for three white 5dBm antennas for a 2820?

After a bit of a wi-fi reorganisation, I'd like to experiment with higher-gain antennas on my old 2820. Draytek's official UK distributor doesn't have them in stock, and any images of the ANT-1005 that I can find in the UK are black despite many of their routers being white. Australians seem to have the ANT-1105, which is white. Any suggestions please?

I believe it's the ANT1207 that you're after.

Hope this helps.

Yes, those are white, but note the higher dB which may not matter in practice.

I use these on my Dual Band 2860AC as they are compatible for both the 2.4 and 5gHz frequencies.

Note that the higher dBm gain means that the apple like signal shape radiating from the aerial will become more doughnut like. Imagine a cored apple (standard dBm aerial) slotted over the aerial and the shape of the apple shows you how the signal strength is distributed - then imagine taking off the apple and putting on a doughnut (7dBm aerial) - the signal is stronger and goes out further round the middle of the doughnut. The aerial is still an omni-directional one so radiates 360 degrees its just the shape of the radiation that changes. You just have to be a bit more selective about how you angle the aerials to maximise link speed to the wireless clients. I have mine upstairs and the aerials (3 of them) like this | / _ to cover upstairs and downstairs.
