VPN LAN to LAN 2862 to 2866 was created by lesd
First foray into setting up a VPN. Trying to set up LAN to LAN 2862 to 2866 following various guides on the web.

I have set them up and they do not connect. I have tried SSL and PPTP. For both if I use the Draytek Smart VPM client I can connect to the 2866 using both types.

I have tried 'prodding' it using Connection Management but it does nothing. There is no feedback about connecting/failing

Grateful for any help.

Problem solved. I remembered about Web Syslog and the remote side was rejecting due to Brute Force blocking - cause by an error in the password - though I had supposedly checked it several times. :(
