Hello gusnor,
This seems to be a known issue. Please visit the openvpn pages for details:
https://support.openvpn.com/hc/en-us/articles/17195963469339-OpenVPN-Connect-app-Connection-Failed-Unknown-unsupported-options-present-in-configuration-

For Vigor, we need to mark out the options added for OpenVPN client v2.6:
UDP:
#data-ciphers aes-256-cbc
#data-ciphers-fallback aes-256-cbc
#--pull-filter ignore redirect-gateway
#ping 10
#ping-exit 60
TCP:
#data-ciphers aes-256-cbc
#data-ciphers-fallback aes-256-cbc
#--pull-filter ignore redirect-gateway

Thanks.
i read through some of those.
I'm happy to comment out unsupported features, and i also think the very latest iOS app does now ignore unsupported so no errors there.
The current error in the iOS app log is:
"error:0A000152:SSL routines::unsafe legacy renegotiation disabled"
which seems a little more severe. The result is the "connecting" message stays and never connects. No error is shown. Only when we look in the logs.
I'm guessing the router firmware has logic for OpenVPN server that the app no longer is willing to support.
cheers
