OpenVPN client on iOS doesn’t send all traffic through VPN was created by paulruk
Hi all, I have a 2960 router with OpenVPN configured, which works great. When MacOS clients connect using the Tunnelblick client software, all traffic is sent down the VPN tunnel with no problem (there is an option in the client software force this). However, using the OpenVPN client for iOS, only traffic for the subnets behind the 2960 are sent down the VPN - all other traffic goes straight to the internet.
I can’t see any option when creating the OVPN profile on the 2960 to achieve this - unless I am missing something?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you want the client to send all traffic through the tunnel but the client has no option to do that, the router itself couldn't enforce this I think. Maybe there's an option to set the subnet for the VPN? If you set the VPN tunnel's subnet on the client side to 0.0.0.0/0, that should send all traffic through the tunnel.
