Hi all,

I'm trying to set up remote teleworker access to network resources including network shares on a Synology NAS. I've configured the 2860 and the Windows 7 VPN client according to the instructions at https://www.draytek.com/en/faq/faq-vpn/vpn.host-to-lan/windows-7-built-in-vpn-to-vigor-router/ - this has you set it up as L2TP/IPSEC with a PSK, which I've done. The connection is established successfully; I can ping the NAS from the client and access its administration pages, and I can access the network shares if I use the NAS's IP address (\\192.168.1.x\sharename\).

However, I can't browse network resources in Windows Explorer from the client, and this is what I'd like to do.

For the time being, the 2860 LAN IP addresses are 192.168.1.x. The client is on a home LAN with IP addresses 192.168.0.x.

If I connect the client PC directly to the 2860 LAN, network discovery works.

I have Kaspersky Internet Security on the client PC - I've set the VPN connection to be a 'Trusted Network' there. Also tried turning the KIS firewall off completely, with no effect.

The Synology firewall is off.

What am I missing here?
