Hi,
I'm trying to open the Windows Remote Desktop protocol from WAN to LAN, but with no success.
I already did the port-forwarding from the port 8839 to the server on 8839.
I Also created a firewall ip filter rule, giving access to the server from WAN to LAN and from the port range 1-65535 to 3389.
I tested the router for the port 3389, and it's always closed.
thanks in advance for your help.
Kind Regards

I'm not sure about your problem but you've punched a big hole in
your firewall. Why aren't you using a VPN ?

That's complicated to explain...
The fact is that i need to allow remote desktop pass throw, and till know i wasn't able to. I've done this before on other routers including other draytek routers without problems.
Also, another problem I have with this router is with a ipsec VPN (site-to-site), this router gives, i think, the wrong gateway to remote network, and this doesn't allow communication with remote network, basically it configures the remote gateway as it's own public ip, instead of configuring the remote gateway as the remote network public ip...!
