VPN tunnel drops 2830 to 2860 was created by alphanov
Hello
I have a VPN tunnel using PPTP between a 2830 (firmware 3.6.7) using a dynamic WAN IP and a 2860 (firmware 3.7.8) using a static WAN IP. This tunnel stays alive for the majority of the time but has dropped on the past two weekends. The 2830 and 2860 have a further VPN tunnel established to a 2820 (firmware 3.3.7.6) using a dynamic WAN IP. These tunnels stayed up on the first weekend but went down this past weekend (between the 2830 and 2820). Any thoughts as to why this happens given that the tunnels are set to "stay alive"? I have checked to see if the 2830 lost internet (it didn't) and that all settings remain intact.

I haven't flashed the latest firmware as the tunnel has been stable for months until recently.

Thanks
