Vigor 3900 - VPN & DHCP was created by darthter
I currently have VPN ect configured, with the remote connections being assigned an IP address from a pre-defined pool in the 3900 (in the LAN settings)
Is it possible for remote clients to be assigned an IP address from our internal DHCP server, rather than the 3900???

I have been reading these forums now for the last two ours and really am disapointed that not one answer just like this one even come close to any answer.
In fact this forum regarding draytek routers has been the biggest pile of shit i have ever had the missfortune of reading, im dumping draytek as our prefered supplier and going streight over to Cisco.
Enoughs enogh of perservering with a tin pot company like this one.

I'm new at the forums and i know this post is old. anyway i want to answer you.
i have a 2960. the front-end is similar to 3900. I will suppose, your remote dial in users connect using pptp.
Go to vpn and remote access, then to ppp general setup. enable dhcp relay setting the lan interface connected to the dhcp server and specify the dhcp ip address.
hope it helps. Cheers!
