Setup VPN on Vigor 2820vn was created by rlculver
Hi,

I would like to setup VPN on a Vigor 2820vn router.

Basic requirements are to connect to a NAS box which is connected to the vigor router via VPN.

How do I go about doing this. IS their a guide on how this can be done.

Also, how do we ensure the link is secure etc?

Many Thanks

Don't quite understand what it is you're after?
If you want to access the NAS server over the internet and it is on your own private network then you have two options.

You can use port forwarding so you'll have an ip address which you can find by going here http://www.whatsmyip.org/
Then to connect to your nas you'll have to forward an external port to the ip and internal port of your nas. For example if your NAS is on 192.168.0.5 internally, then on your Draytek go to NAT > Port redirection. Enable it by ticking the box, Mode is Single, Give it a name, WAN IP = 1. ALL, give it a public port number for example 8080. Then you'll need to put your internal ip and port to connect to the NAS.

Or you can create a remote dial in user and connect to your network and give access to all devices on your internal network.
Not sure if i've understood correctly but that is what I'm guessing you mean.
