LAN to LAN help please was created by kenrayner
Ok, so I have two LANs both with Draytek routers and have set up LAN to LAN using the Draytek guides. One is 10.10.100.0 and the other is 192.168.128.0.

So site 1 can now see IP addresses on site 2.

But I also need site 2 to see IP addresses on site 1.

What do I need to do? Should it work anyway?

Thanks...

Take it you've connected to site 2's draytek and done some ping tests from the router?

If there are connected then unless the routing table is wrong you should be able to pass traffic in both ways,
Does the connection manager show the correct address at both ends?
Do you have any firewall rules etc

one other thing, the 10.10.100.0 address is class A and the 192.168 is class C. this could cause an issue

Thanks all.

Yes, ping tests from router 2 falling on deaf ears.

No firewall rules on either router in addition to the default filters at the moment.

Interesting point on class A/C. Didn't think that would cause a problem if both are private subnets but I'm not an expert in that!

I will try again. Both ends seemed to show the right address in connection management.

Well, it works the other way (if I dial out from router 2 to router 1). So, I guess it's solved - though wish I knew why it wouldn't work the other way!

Thanks for all your help.
