IpSec VPN Tunnel, routing issue was created by neil@cipher-it.co.uk
Hi All

I have created an IPSec VPN Tunnel from a draytek 2600plus into a Draytek 2850.
The tunnel is working fine - as soon as I enable it the connection is live, and I can ping both ways.

However, the outlook clients at the satellite end (2600 end) can no longer get emails via their POP pickups...which are mail.companyname.co.uk
Pinging that same name returns no reply.

How do I make the router allow the traffic for that one entry <mail.*****.co.uk> point straight out to the IP address that it needs to, rather than try and locate that address on the Head office end (where it refers to the name of the exchange server> and cannot therefore collect email, and HQ cannot be changed.
I have added an entry to the hosts file on that PC to no avail, so clearly the draytek needs to be told to allow that name out to the local internet connection and not down the VPN tunnel to HQ.

Thanks in advance.

Neil
