VPN not working with two IP ranges?

2820n router

We needed a second IP range adding to an existing working VPN. Current range = 172.27.48.0 /23, i go the profile of the VPN within LAN to LAN, scroll down and click 'more' under the TCP/IP Network settings section. In the dialog box i then add the additional network range 172.27.50.0 /24, click ok and close. Drop the VPN and it comes back up but doesn't work with both IP ranges, it's only working with the one listed in Remote Network IP / Mask on the main page of the VPN.

If i try the new network range by itself on the main page of the VPN it works perfectly, it just won't work if i have two ranges.

Any help would be very welcome, thanks.

Should add as well, used both 3.3.3 and 3.3.3.1 firmware. Also i can see both routes within the routing table of the router and both point to VPN.

got this back from draytek support some time ago.....

To be able to access different subnets on the remote side, the following conditions has to be met:
1. There should be Draytek routers on both sides of the network.
2. Static route should be configured on the remote side of the network.
3 On the local network, the more feature is used to add the multiple subnets.

2820 = 3.3.2_RC5
2950 = 3.2.4

I'm having exactly same issue - did you ever get it resolved?

Yes and no.

What we did in the end was create seperate VPN tunnels for each additional range rather than try to stack the ranges within a single tunnel.

Hope that helps.
