Can't get epson stylus photo 900 to work. But all surrounding versions seem to work. (925, 890)

Kyocera FS1020D. 2900Gi firmware v2.5.4.1_rc2.

It took a while to get it working. One has to use the base router IP; normally 192.168.1.1. the Kyocera software automatically names the port as IP_192.168.1.1. The printer install software doesn't ever find the printer; one has to set TCP/IP, it offers the option of a Generic network card. But that doesn't work. One has to go into control panel, change the port to LPR, queue name to "p1", enable byte counting.

Any questions, please email me on peter4555@peter2000.co.uk as I rarely visit here.

I do get a fairly persistent problem which is that any printout is preceeded by a page which is blank except for some garbage at the top. No problem; just a waste of paper...

:D works fine but you do need to pay careful attention to the set up procedure, and especially if you change the default addresses in the router
