Hi,
Need to replace my 2860 as the Wan port is onl 300mb and my FTTP is 900. I have 4 APs 1x 910c and 3 x 902s which I would like to utilze but I am struggling to find anything about backwards compatibilty, the matrix I found talked about current APs.
Anyone out the could reccomend a home router with 900 Wan throughput for FTTP and support older APs please?

many thanks in advance.

Andy

Could you clarify what you mean by compatibilty? Within the limits of its specification parameters won't any AP "work" with just about any router? After all, it's just a device stuck on the end of a LAN cable. Or are you looking for some sort of specific Draytek functionality?

I mean, I want them to connect. I dont know if any AP will work with any router. I just didnt want to lash out 2-300 notes on a router only to find out I cant connect my existing APs. Having to buy 4 new APs is something I am keen to avoid. Looking on comparison it only mentions current APs, though this is probably sales gimick?
Cheers

As per Piste Basher...the AP's are just network devices - as is the router. If there's a compatibility issue then its more to do with how you want to connect them. Technically it can be made to work just fine, although you'll have mis-matches of capability on the 5GHz side (for the most part).

If it was me I'd have them all hardwired back to the router and then config everything accordingly. If you're wanting to use WDS connectivity then that will work too if you really must.

What won't work is the mesh functionality that you'll get on any new router.
