Brand new out of the box 2962: firmware installed from factory 4.4.3

Changed admin pw
Change Lan 1 to 192.168.10.1 as the out of the box - 192.168.1.1 clashed with my working network for settng up the new vigor.
re booted --- All Good

Tried to upgrade to "latest" firmware 4.4.3.1   -- Left for over an hour on the updrade screen ... Fimrware upgrade is in prgrogess..

Eventually got a connection broken screen... Restarted browser and was able to log back in the web-admin but now faced with:

Warning: Firmware Damage!!!
You must upgrade FW immediately, or the router will die after reboot!

Tried to reinstall 4.4.3 --- very quickly (couple of seconds) get the connection broken screen. on-logging back in still getting the Warning.

I have not rebooted yet as dont want to create a new Brick.

Note the latest firmware is listed as 4.3.2.8 even though the is a 4.4.3.1 on the download page.

Anyone tried to upgrade to 4.4.3.1?

Cheers

I have had this issue before with Edge/Chrome. Try using Firefox and/or InPrivate browsing

Yes a different browser may help.
You can also try the firmware utility https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/downloads/software
