2866 - CMD line FTP passthrough was created by gazmo30
Hi All,
Vigor 2866
We are trying to setup CMD line FTP to send files to a folder on a server. We have installed a starlink set on WAN 2 and set that as the default internet connection. WAN 1 is a slow FTTC but has a static IP addresses that we want to use for the CMD line FTP and access to SQL. The SQL part works fine, it is locked down to 2 specific external IP addresses but the FTP fails. I have followed as many articles as i can find and it does connect - you can also filezilla files to the folder - but cannot send the file through CMD line to the server. The connection opens then times out.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you tried using a different command line ftp client, the command line one in windows doesnt support passive mode, where filezilla does.

I am afraid i don't control what type of FTP is used.
To get it working i have reverted back to a Billion 8600 that can from the internet supplier. It is working fine so it is a router or configuration issue.
