I like in the uk and and am about to change my broad band supplier to Bonline who are I think an OpenReach reseller.

My
packages is 'fiber' to the box predicted speak of 74mbs

Ive got my own router with FreshTomato and plan to use a Vigor130 as a modem

Two question if I may:

1) Which version of the frim ware should I flash to the modem?

it's a Vigor130, Annex A S/N 15C002857976
I looked at download but there seem to be diferent option and I wasn't sure which to use.

2) And particular setting I shoudl be usign to set up the modem that Bonline might not tell me about in there infomation...

Firstly, I would set everything up and check that it's working before flashing any firmware.

If your ISP is an Openreach reseller then you shouldn't need to do anything to the 130, it should "just work" out of the box, provided you have put the correct settings in your router.

If you do feel the need to flash the firmware, and it is not already on the current version 3.8.5.1, then the 3.8.5.1 BT version should be correct, with no need for the alternative version.

Is it possible that you are over-thinking this?
