I have a 500Mb/s FTTP service and recently bought a 2927ax. The specs show without H/W acceleration a throughput of 800Mb/s and with H/W acceleration 950Mb/s https://www.draytek.co.uk/products/business/vigor-2927ax#specifications
Setup is router WAN1 to FTTP OTP, replacing the isp provided linksys box. But, even with a device ethernet connected to one of the lan ports with H/W acceleration off i can't get a speed test to hist 500. Yet if i swap back to the Linksys i get the full speed result. On the Draytek i need to enable H/W acceration to achieve the 500 results on the speed test. And the response from the Draytek support ticket was that i should have H/W aceleration on for the best througput. Anyone else here having similar issues or thoughts on why without H/W acceleration on the kit isn't meeting it's stated spec ?
