2865ax Load Balancing with Virgin cable was created by scrivolenski
Hi,
I have just installed a 2865 ax at home with two inputs: Virgin cable and a fibre broadband connection. We also have Virgin TV and what I didn’t realise is that the Virgin box will only connect through the Virgin cable and with load balancing it could go to either.
My thought on solving the issue was to create another SSID which would be Virgin only. Is that the latter possible and if so could someone describe how to do so? Or is there a smarter solution?
Many thanks in advance.

Can you bind the Virgin box to an IP and then use Route policy to send all stuff to that IP from one of the WAN's ?

my way of dealing with this was to put the virgin into modem mode and make it he primary route. But with other connection in play I would put a route policy in place.
