2865VAC and AP903 wired link was created by jollyrog
I have a strange fault with a 2865VAC and AP903 combo. Wired mesh link.
I have a couple of PCs and a NAS connected via ethernet cables to the AP903. Everything works, sort of, but one of the PCs is suffering minor data loss which is really upsetting Microsoft RDP sessions which don't reconnect. Occasionally some web pages don't respond to input (clicks) and a second attempt is required. If it wasn't for these minor glitches, I wouldn't know there's a problem. Wireless devices hanging off the AP903 are fine and I'm not noticing any data loss to/from the NAS.
Removing the AP903 and hard wiring the PC to the 2865 via the RJ45 socket and same CAT5e cable that runs through the house clears the fault completely.
This started a couple of months ago when I replaced my 2862 with the 2865. In all other respects the 2865 and AP903 appear fine, they just don't seem to be talking to each other reliably.
Any ideas please? Thanks.

Is the 903 firmware latest? Lets go from there.

A couple of simple steps to help narrow down the issue.
Do both PC's suffer from the same issue?
If not if the PC cables are swapped in the AP903 LAN ports does the problem move?
Have your tried running the AP903 via the CAT5 cable into a LAN port(as opposed to connecting directly to the PC) thus bypassing the Mesh temporarily (& disabling the MESH).
Also are all the devices connected on the same LAN-A and not also using LAN-B?
The latest firmware for the AP903 is now 1.4.4 and there will shortly be 4.4.0 available for the 2865 (just released on draytek.com so should be available shortly on the .co.uk site).
It may just be a firmware bug.
Was the 2865 configured from scratch or via the 2862 configuration file?

Thanks for the reply.
I updated the 2865 firmware a couple of days ago from the International site.
The problems have all stopped. There was obviously something very wrong with the 2865 firmware v4.3.2.1, it was dropping packets over the LAN causing issues with various devices, the 903 was just one of them. I was losing 20% of the pings to my Netgear NAS.
Frustrating, that for months I have been trying to solve this problem and it was duff firmware.
