Could the 3910 be the best router in it's class was created by storyboardassociates
With the preview release of 4.3.1_RC9 for the Draytek 3910, adding new many new features, such as Wireguard server and client, OpenVPN server and client, 10G, 2.5G and 1G WAN connections with support up to four load balanced WANs and two WANs for WAN failover, IPV6, Google Authenticator for VPN access and many other features, there is nothing in the price range that completes with the 3910.
Having today upgraded to 4.3.1_RC9, I now have several Wireguard mobile remote clients with phenomenal speed, two site to site Wireguard locations and multiple failover WAN connections.
I feel like the 3910 has finally grown up to be a really useful tool.

That's great that it's working for you with the Wireguard VPNs Let our support team know if you come across any problems.
Because this is a preview release it's still being tested, but now that it's at RC9 it's ready for customers to preview it. The same firmware is available for the Vigor 2962, which is a formal release rather than a preview.
It'll be on the DrayTek UK website sometime next week after some checks have been done with it. It will be available alongside the 3.9.7.2 release, which will become the 'stable' branch for now.

The challenge with such products for home use is the power consumption - up to 35W. Add a few access points, PoE switch, IP-CCTV maybe a small NAS and the home network could easily be chewing through 100W just doing nothing - and maybe considerably more - £160 a year at current UK energy cap prices, which are increasing 50% in April.
