2862 fw 3.9.6.2_BT slow with Chrome Browser was created by craigski
When accessing admin page using Chrome, takes 10-15 seconds to load initial page, CPU stays at 88% for 30 seconds, then drops to 20%.
Tried clearing cache, no change.
Didn't see issue with 3.9.6.1
Firefox OK.
Anyone seeing similar with Chrome?

I cant remember, as I'm running 2927 now. It may have been a pop-up blocker / tracker that I had to disable in Chrome for the IP address to 2862?

I had a similar issue with my 2762. Put it down to a problem with a poor VDSL line and errors appearing on it. However, eventually discovered that changing channels or switching WiFi on/off usually solved the issue. Since I live in an area with very few WiFi networks around, I concluded, after some testing, that it was the router. It currently sits in a box while I enjoy a more stable connection managed by Fritz!box.
