Vigor 2866 slows to a crawl after a week was created by tivoli
Hello
I have a new Vigor 2866ac, firmware 4.3.2_BT connected to Plusnet VDSL2
I've noticed that after a week my speeds will drop considerably from 40Mbps to 17Mbps. Latency is also affected and goes from 10ms to 25ms to a variety of DNS servers. All tests conducted on Ethernet.
Checked the DSL Status page and it maintains a constant stable connection, no CRCs or FECS.
The only way to resolve things back to normal is to reboot the router.
Has anyone else with a 2866 experienced anything similar?

Not exactly the same error but....
I have a BT G.Fast service, maximum speeds using a 2860 and a BT white modem on WAN2 were about 150Mb down, and 50Mb up. However since swapping to a 2866 (with built in G.Fast/VDSL modem), the speeds are rarely above 30Mb down and 30Mb up, and very often it will renegotiate the speed multiple times an hour (the speeds fluctuate up and down on both upload and download).
I also have a call open with Draytek currently for a very unreliable dial in VPN connection on the 2866. Basically if I am connected via PPTP VPN to the router from elsewhere (haven't tried the other types of VPN), the router will reboot itself entirely on a regular basis (multiple times an hour).
I suspect we have fallen foul of release firmware on a new product.....
