Connecting a Draytek router to existing BT Hub was created by arsenalbates
Hi,
For various reasons I need to connect a Vigor 2860N to my existing network which is run by a BT HUB via FTTP 150/30. I then need to separate the network on the Draytek so that one part is on the same existing network (including DHCP if poss.) and then the other part is on a separate VLAN to segregate a range of wired/wireless devices. How would you go about achieving this? I don't think the BT HUB has bridging mode as its a residential router and it would be handy to keep the hub in situ working.

Connect the Draytek WAN2 to the BT Hub. Enable WAN2 for DHCP and set the MTU for WAN2 to 1500.
Connect other LAN devices to the Draytek LAN / WiFi as needed.
