2762 firmware issues was created by gazzasma
I recently updated the firmware on my 2762 router to the latest 3.9.6.1-bt and web pages hang on load and anything web related becomes very unresponsive. I also tried the previous firmware 3.9.6-bt and that presents the same issue. I Then downgraded the router firmware to the version I was running originally which was 3.9.2_bt and all is back to normal again. This is happening on a BT Business broadband connection FTTC. Anyone else having a similar issue?

Never use BT DNS servers, make sure you set your DHCP to hand out say something like 9.9.9.9 and 1.1.1.2.

Tried changing DNS servers it made no difference only reverting firmware fixed it.

I believe the 3.9.6.1 has an issue; if you look at Draytek.com (FTP), there's 3.9.6.2, but I'd wait until Draytek Global/UK make it available on their website.
A full reset would be advised in your case after the firmware upgrade, anyway, especially if you're upgrading from 3.9.2 to 3.9.6.1.

I did look through the release notes but didn't see any mention of an update sequence to 3.9.4_BT before 3.9.6_BT & 3.9.6.1_BT

Then see if the reset solves the issue (make sure that you back up the configuration).
