Can someone tell me in a modem (draytek166) and router (draytek 2962) setup, does the router mtu setting take precedence or does the modem, or Indeed do you need to set both?

I use a Vigor 130 modem and on a PPOE connection have found both need to be set. 1492MTU is the standard for PPOE.

My bad, just logged into the modem again and realised that the mtu on there is only relevant to an mpoa connection.
Problem solved.
