Just wanted to make a thread to help myself and potentially others who will be buying/bought the latest 2927vigor.

I have currently the 900mbps BT FTTP package and I'm only currently getting about 500-700mbps on speedtests using BTW Performance Tester.

I am on the latest firware (4.2.2) and have wan2 disabled, so the connection is only flowing through one wan port. Is there anything else I need to be doing?

Should I have hardware accerlation on or can this rate limit the connection? Just would like to hear what other settings people have used to maximise their internet package.

A lot of the online speedtesters struggle with high speed connections.
www.fast.com is one of the more capable ones.
Or better still have you tried downloading and installing the speedtest.net client and checking that way?

If they are all showing similar speeds then the next thing to look at would be your PC.
Surprisingly a lot of PCs struggle to keep 900mbps going.
Do a fresh reboot and make sure all other processes are stopped.
You could even boot in safe mode allowing networking

Yes you need NAT hardware acceleration on to get the full throughput of your connection.
