Hi,

I've just bought a Vigor 2927ac to use as the root to a new mesh network.
Nodes to be 2 x 903 , 2 x 802 and an outdoor 918R.

plugged in the 2927, gave it internet access, updated the firmware to 4.2.0.2 - clients can connect.

can't find any function in the web interface to enable or use mesh at all. the online help doesn't. the 950 page pdf manual has not one mention of the word 'mesh'.

I'm guessing the Marketing Dept. is a bit ahead of the Software Team

(I believe the 2862 received this functionality after it had been launched).

says that it requires firmware 4.2.2

and v4.2.2 does not yet exist.
great. it's a future release of the firmware.
so....in the meantime i have a pretty pile of boxes which can't do what i need.

Could you use WDS Bridge mode in the meantime?
