Block specific TCP/UDP Port - Vigor 2952 was created by sortitirl
Hi all,
I'm trying to block a specific, single TCP/UDP port in/out

I did the following:
Firewall => Filter Setup => Set 3

I created the following rules:

However port 5000 still remains open? (canyouseeme.org)

Am I missing something? (Clearly!!)

The first filter set that's processed by the Firewall's Data Filter is set #2 (set from Firewall > General Setup). If you set Firewall Filter set #2 to link to Firewall Filter set #3, it should then work.

That's just a drop down option in the bottom right of each Filter Set.

Many thanks for the quick response. I have done as you mentioned (screenshot), but port 5000 still remains open?! Tried rebooting the router, too.

Check that in the Firewall General Settings, the Data Filter is enabled and pointing to Filter Set 2.

Yup, that all seems in order (see below). I'm starting to run out of ideas here!

If you change the start data filter set from 2 to 3, the new one you created, does that make any difference ?
