Hi,

I am trying to setup a 4G connection on a 2862 router using a new Vodafone K5161 4G dongle.
It works fine in a PC, with a solid purple light and a good connection.

However, when I put it into the router (USB1) I get a flashing purple light on the dongle and the router reports 'device not found'

I have previously set up a K5160 on one of these routers, and assumed that the 5161 was a minor upgrade, and so am using the same settings.

There are very few settings I can change.
I am using DHCP mode.


Has anyone any experience of this and can tell me how to get it working?

K5161 not on the support list but try using PPP mode. I've had success in situations like this in the past so worth a shot.
