2860 Dual WAN issue was created by hippoitm
Hi,
Have a 2860, two WAN, one VDSL, the other is ethernet to a BT Modem. IP traffic on the lan is divided between 2 WANS, IP addresses 001 to 199 are routed via WAN 1, 200 and above via WAN 2, all ip addresses from 200 are work, we both work from home. Both lines are business class lines from VoiceHost with static IP
No issues in general, but one website will not resolve for any device it the 200+ range, but does for any address from 001-199. Cannot for the life of me figure out why. No filtering set up, no firewall is use on the Draytek. Anyone have any ideas?

When you say it won't resolve , are you talking about DNS name resolution - i.e. "xyz's server IP address could not be found" - or does the browser just "hang" trying to connect? as in: "took too long to respond"
If it's the latter, it could be the MTU on the WAN 2 interface that is too high. Go to "Internet Access | Wan 2 | Details Page". MTU setting is bottom-left.

Hi MTU values are identical, so it’s not that. It’s so bizarre.
I don’t want to set a routing rule to force that URL via WAN1, because for me that’s not a fix, that’s a work around and I’d rather figure out what’s causing it than just using some duct tape!!

What is the exact local address of the device in the 200 range?

Any device in the 200 range cannot resolve the site. I have fixed it using a routing rule, but it’s still odd
