Hi,
Anyone else seen this?
Two brand new 2862 - shipped with 3.9.2, configured (manually), upgraded to 3.9.3 router uncontactable and keeps crashing?
FW util to push earlier FW back onto them all OK.

So we have investigated this further.
If we factory reset, upgrade from 3.9.2 to 3.9.3 and load config file 'A' the system reboots and won't allow us to connect.
If we factory reset, load 3.9.2, load config 'A' the system is fine.
If we then upgrade to 3.9.3 - system again crashes.
We have just now repeated this with OUR config (working fine on our 2862 3.9.2) factory reset, 3.9.2, upgrade to 3.9.3, load our config, crashes.

We are also seeing the same thing
I have now managed to brick 5 different 2862 routers
Tried TFTP mode and reinstalled 3.9.3, router still bricked
Used TFTP to install 3.9.2 routers working again
I used VigorACS to push 3.9.3 to 12 2863 routers before i realised there was an issue and now i have 4 out of 12 that are offline, 8 completed without issue
I will have to travel to customers sites to recover the 4 offline routers
I have now managed to brick 5 different 2862 routers

There was a similar issue previously with 2860's when they released a security vulnerability update (3.8.8.2) in May 2018.
There looked to be something in the configuration that the new firmware didn't like as we had multiple devices break in the same way when they were updated, some of these had been migrated from an earlier model.
Draytek did fix the issue as subsequent firmware versions updated without any issue.
If the configuration was re-entered manually on a fresh build no issues at all with the device. I ended up rebuilding the configuration on a spare device with the , and then loading this onto a broken device once it had been recovered.
It looks as if the 3.9.3 firmware has been pulled from the UK website as no longer shown on the download page.

Luckily I haven't been in a rush to push 3.9.3 out in the current environment, I have it on a test device in the office and I did one on site remotely which didn't cause any issues.
