2862 shocking after 3.9.2 ? was created by juleswilko
Anyone else got a constantly crashing, wireless / internet going to garbage 2862 router?
Since I upgraded to the 3.9.2 firmware it's been driving me and every wireless user extra bananas, and even LAN users mad (when the router reboots).
I've got it on a few different routers with the exact same issue... Not sure what's going on.
Anyone else?

LOL - Yeah - I wanted to start using the 2862 as the mesh root so leapt for the firmware...
And it's completely messing with me as a result (it seems!)
Although I am also wondering whether it is to do with the Draytek ACS check in as well...
Hard to know exactly what's occurring.

I don’t find 3.9.2 any better or worse than the other last couple of versions.
I still get occasional uncommanded restarts (at inconvenient times). The std advice, debugging, and extensive logging for unexpected restarts yields no info.

Well...
Still wonder whether it’s the ACS stuff , even now I have disabled it.
But I am getting consistent lock ups when the CPU hits 80% plus for periods.
No idea wtf it’s doing.
Think it’s time to downgrade the firmware and go back to a disparate mesh setup.
It’s causing too many phone calls

Did you ever get mesh to work on the 2862? I'm trying the 3.9.3 firmware on a 2926ac and the mesh setup fails to "see" any AP903 nodes from a few feet away.
