FTP to USB (2925) was created by mbames
I've got a crude backup system in place which zips up my important files and FTPs them to a USB stick plugged into the Vigor. (The theory being that if anything happened to the PC, the FTP on the 2925 would most likely be safe).
Anyway, upon running it today, I notice the FTP no longer works with the latest firmware. At best I can transfer between 40-130MB before it fails. Tried with both CLI and FileZilla
Currently running with 3.8.9.5 (updated only a few weeks ago, iirc), but I see a new 3.8.9.6 version is out, so I'll apply that and see if it helps. Likewise, I don't believe the USB drive is bad, but I'll give that a check too.

I'll answer this one myself. Pulled the USB stick and shoved it in a PC, and it is reporting as "read-only".
The stick has no physical lock switch on it, and the normal disk part trick doesn't work. Thankfully it was only a small 4GB stick, but I wonder if leaving it plugged into the router for the last year had some adverse affect on it.
